What I Watched Today: New York, I Love You
I put this in the instant queue probably 3 weeks ago LOL. I’ve been meaning to watch it, but You’re Beautiful and Full Metal Panic took up my attention hahah.
There were a whole bunch of familiar faces! And if I didn’t recognize someone, they had a face that seemed familiar. The cast was good. It’s a weird thing to say, but there was no one that was so attractive that they overshadowed the rest of the cast. And everyone did have a memorable face, so you can normally tell when someone shows up again.
During the first 20 minutes, I was saying to myself, “Wow, there is too much going on. I’m going to need to read a summary about this.” But once characters stopped reappearing, I realized that it was a bunch of short stories, which ends up being a really cool idea! I kinda see it like the business of New York haha.
Overall, the movie did grow on me. I’d watch it again, because I’m almost positive I didn’t get everything I should have out of that movie. With how much is going on, I’m bound to find something new every time I watch it :)
